When
Penny Olive Sourdough Pizza and Focaccia classes run on six Sundays per year from 8.30am until 4.00pm. Private classes are also available on request. $195 pp inc GST (maximum 6 participants).
What you’ll learn
The classes provide the necessary knowledge and skills to make authentic Pizza and Focaccia in your own domestic or wood fired oven.
You will learn how to care for, maintain and use your sourdough starter to ensure successful, healthy dough. You will gain hands on experience mixing, shaping and baking your own organic sourdough Pizza and Focaccia and dough.
You will learn techniques such as “rounding” your dough into pizza balls and learn the art of hand stretching pizza bases.
What’s included
All courses include:
- Morning tea and espresso coffee/tea
- Lunch featuring your own hand-made pizza and salad.
- A glass or two of Tiny Block Wine during lunch.
- All required baking equipment
- Vegetarian and Vegan ingredients available on request
Where
The classes are held in our bakery at The Patch, 3kms from the picturesque Dandenong Ranges town of Kallista, Victoria and only one hour drive from Melbourne CBD. Belgrave is the nearest train station, approximately 10 minutes from our bakery by Uber, taxi or 30 minutes by bus.
