Penny Olive Sourdough offer hands-on sourdough baking classes twice a month on a Sunday. We also run extra classes for small groups by request. Please email us to discuss your needs.

Classes run from 9.30am until 4.30pm. $195 pp inc GST (maximum 6 participants).

Getting the best results from your domestic oven
The class is perfect for those looking to bake bread weekly at home. You will take home a jar of starter and two loaves of your own hand mixed, shaped and baked bread.
A range of biodynamic flours and essential baking equipment is also available for purchase on the day. EFTPOS is available.
What’s included
All courses include morning tea and espresso coffee, a hearty vegetarian lunch (Vegan friendly on request) and afternoon tea, prepared with organic, biodynamic and home-grown ingredients
Where
The classes are held in our bakery at The Patch, 3kms from the picturesque Dandenong Ranges town of Kallista, Victoria and only one hour drive from Melbourne CBD. Belgrave is the nearest train station, approximately 10 minutes from our bakery by Uber, taxi or 30 minutes by bus.
